Chris Curtis – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Chris was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Wencor Group in August 2016. Chris is a seasoned global executive, having spent two decades at Schneider Electric in a variety of leadership roles including President and CEO of North America and Executive Vice President of the Buildings Business division. During his time with Schneider, Chris successfully oversaw a number of critical divisions, achieving significant growth across market segments and geographies. Chris earned a dual BA in History and Economics from Le Moyne College, completed the Executive Development program at Harvard University and also attended Peking University.

 

Shawn Trogdon – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Shawn Trogdon is responsible for all finance, accounting, treasury and information technology functions. Shawn joined The Wencor Group in October 2014 as the Global Controller. Previously, he was the Global Controller at Wesco Aircraft Holdings, a public aircraft parts distributor with over $1.4 billion of annual sales. Prior to that, he held financial positions at Landmark Aviation and Grant Thornton. Shawn has led companies through initial public offerings (“IPO”), acquisitions, new product development, business restructurings and has managed companies through relationships with private equity investors, public investors, analysts, banks and external auditors. Shawn earned his BS in Accounting and Masters of Accounting from North Carolina State University.

 

Jason Caldwell – President of Wencor Distribution

Jason currently oversees all aspects of Wencor Distribution worldwide. Jason began his career with Wencor in 1996 in sales and marketing and has since held several executive leadership positions including Vice President of Sales, President of Dixie Aerospace and Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Wencor Group. He most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) for Wencor Group where he led all strategic M&A initiatives for the company. Jason received both a BS in International Relations and an MBA from Brigham Young University.

 

Keith Coleman – President of Wencor PMA

Wencor PMA - Keith Coleman

Keith leads all PMA initiatives across Wencor Group including Engineering, Quality, Product Development and Technical Purchasing. Keith joined Wencor Group in 2005 as Director of Sales, then became President of Dixie Aerospace. Keith also worked at Delta Airlines for 11 years in various functional areas including engineering, supply chain and aircraft maintenance. Keith received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida.

 

Eric Vernon – General Counsel

Eric has managed the legal, regulatory and compliance efforts for Wencor Group since 2001. Eric is also a member of the corporate development team responsible for business strategy, corporate development, global expansion and M&A activity. Eric holds a JD degree from Brigham Young Law School and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

 

Tom Davis – EVP of Product Management

Tom Davis is Executive Vice President of Product Management and is responsible for global product development, procurement, business development and product management for the distribution and PMA portfolios. Prior to this role, Davis was Senior Director for Air and Thermal Systems for Honeywell Aerospace where supported domestic/international, OEM/ aftermarket customers in all Aerospace segments. He also served Honeywell as Senior Sourcing Director, responsible for sourcing process improvements focused on supplier transitions, international offsets, eSourcing and as Vice President for US Army programs as well as leadership roles managing customer relationships with Gulfstream, Dassault, BAe and many others. With over 20 years in aerospace, Tom has worked in a variety of roles in operations, supply chain, quality, contracts, business development, marketing, customer management, information technology and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his experience in aerospace, Tom created an energy startup business focused on alternative combustion which raised $100M in a public offering. Tom holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degree in Industrial Engineering as well as an MBA from Arizona State University and an executive certificate from a joint Harvard/MIT program. Tom is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

 

Ben Boehm – EVP of Sales

Benjamin Boehm is responsible for industry, customer and market analysis as well as providing strategic guidance for global business integration and growth across all of the Wencor Group business units. Benjamin joined the Wencor Group in August 2017 after spending the previous four years as the EVP and Chief Operating Officer of Cascade Aerospace in British Columbia Canada. Prior to that, he had spent 18 years at Bombardier Aerospace in a career that grew into successive leadership positions in product management, aircraft development programs, international industrial relations and commercial sales strategy. Benjamin is a former aerospace engineering officer from the Canadian Air Force and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Royal Military College of Canada as well as a Masters of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

 

Courtney Damon – EVP of Human Resources

Courtney Damon joined the Wencor Group as Executive Vice President of Human Resources in January 2017. She has 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Learning Solutions, and Program Management, and has held several Human Resources leadership positions for national, regional, and global businesses within Schneider Electric. Courtney holds a BS in Business Administration from Miami University and an EMBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

 

Brad Strella – VP of North America Sales

Brad is Vice President of North America Sales for the Wencor Group. He is responsible for all sales activities excluding OEM in this region. Brad has been in the aerospace industry for over 30 years, having worked for both Distribution and Manufacturers. Brad’s most recent positions were at Wesco and KLX as Director of Sales for the Americas. Brad lives in Orlando FL and has a BA in Marketing from the University of South FL.

 

Jon Jeffords – Vice President of OEM Sales

Jon is Vice President of Sales for the OEM market segment for the Wencor Group and is responsible for leading sales activities with our OEM customer base. Jon has over 20 plus years’ experience in aerospace distribution and manufacturing, and has held various sales leadership positions within the Wencor organization. Jon also previously worked in sales for Timken Aerospace. Jon earned his BA in Political Science from The Citadel.

 

Steve Shaffer – Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Steve started his career as an airline pilot and eventually transitioned into varying IT leadership roles. He has worked at some of the most iconic airports, airlines and aerospace companies in the world including JetBlue Airways, Beechcraft, AOPA, and most recently as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport where he led the technology aspects for the third busiest airport in the world. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Technology from Kent State University, and is a Certified Flight Instructor and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
